Keyboard problems

My f-keys arent working all the way from f1 to f12

What i tried:
Restarting
Switching keyboards
Finding/installing keyboard drivers

Specs:
Windows xp - Media center edtion
service pack 3

I have had this problem for some days now, and at first i didnt think it would bother me that much, but now i realized that i use the f keys a lot more than i thought ^^

If you need anymore information or anything else please ask, as this is becoming more frustrating than i thought >.<

i hav a problme too. i try to bind my wow keys to alt + f1 alt + f2 alt + f3 but at alt + f4 my wow crashsese wtf bug

I mean what do you mean that they dont work? Like when you press F key nothing happens or?

I press my f-keys and nothing happends, i press alt-f4 to close a windows nothing happends, i bash mt f-keys nothing happends, it seems like they have been turned off or something...

hmm unless you've spilt something on the keyboard, smashed it, dropped it, pulled keys out i have no idea how to fix it but im suggesting use the on-screen keyboard, or getting a technician

Does your keyboard have an F-lock?, Mine does if you put in on none of the F keys will work.

No its a simple "old" keyboard with only the normal keys, and i have tried plugging my brothers keyboard in and also my parrents keyboard but the f-keys on their keyboards arent working with my computer either, but they are working with their own computer, that is where the "wierdness" is :P
