    Top 3 best movies

This thread is to provide top3 of best movies, please include a link to IMDB and say why you think it is good.

    1. Onskan / Evil Ondskan (2003)
Swedish movie, best movie i have ever seen if i think about it, I really felt as if i lived through the movie and being inside the head of the characters.

    2. American History X American History X (199
doesnt really need too much of an introduction, but once again u felt the rage build up within.

    3. Lotr Triology, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
a sucker for the LOTR movies

The matrix was good too, but the last one was just so stupid, the ending was so crappy that i still can't believe it.
I might edit the list as I just thought of this thread 12 mins ago...

The Joker is just sooo epic and the plot is wicked

    2. Taken Taken (2008/I)
This would have to be very close to The Dark Knight, the action of this movie is soo intense. A highly recommended watch

Not only is the action in this movie kick ass, but the plot is wicked, very well thought through..

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Come on... We all know it and it is one of Johnny Depp's greatest actings (dunno if it's the right word)
Worth watching if you dare to.

    2. Lucky Number Slevin - Lucky Number Slevin
If there wasn't FaLiLA (#1) this would totally be the number 1 in my list (duh).
Greatest dialouges Ive ever heard in a movie, awesome story, big actors and so on.

    3. Wanted - Wanted
A very cool action movie, actually one of the best action movies I've ever seen

    1. Casablanca (1942)
Classic movie with some of the best lines of all time.
    [about Rick]
Major Strasser: You give him credit for too much cleverness. My impression was that he's just another blundering American.
Captain Renault: We musn't underestimate "American blundering". I was with them when they "blundered" into Berlin in 1918.

    2. 12 Angry Men (1957)
A great movie based in a very small, hot room.

    3. Star Wars (1977)
6 very good movies. If you don't know about Star Wars I feel sorry for you.

SW - The Empire Strikes Back - Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) - IMDb
I've had a very nice relation to this movie. Saw it when I was 5 after I've seen the the IV and at first I had very mixed opinions about it, but
they have grown in to an all-respect for this film. Much goes down to the feeling of this "half way" flick.

The House Of Flying Daggers - House of Flying Daggers (2004) - IMDb
I experienced this movie as a latenighter and hence it had an unique affection on me. It's more in the lines of an art movie than a plot movie.

Ghost In The Shell - Ghost in the Shell (1995) - IMDb
Nothing to say. It's just timeless and a pionerr in the sci fi genre. Maybe even in the animation genre.

Worst movie in terms of expectation I must hand to The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (200 - IMDb

Why do you think New Hope is better than The Empire Strikes Back? Just curious :P
