    Advantages and disadvantages of 64-bit

Ok. I'm currently looking to upgrade to a computer that comes with 64-bit preloaded onto it. Has 4GB RAM, a quad core processor and about 500-600 GM of regular memory. Instead of paying for shipping and all that jazz, I'm just going to buy it straight from the store (prolly Best Buy). I know Glider(I glide, and hopfully they get a stay)d oesn't support 64-bit, as I've heard, but to you people who do have experience with 64-bit, do alot of other programs not work with it? I know that it lets you take full advantage of all of your computer, unlike 32-bit. But does it run alot of the programs out there? I know it doesn't run glider, but is that one of the only things? I also have access to XP, 32-bit Vista (for a laptop, so it prolly wont work :P ) so I could possilby install that OS on it, but I am just wanting to know about 64-bit first.

Sorry for the tl;dr and jumbled mess.

The new computer I got(using it now) is 64 bit. I don't even notice the difference. I have a 32 bit folder with all my stuff on the hard drive and another with all the 64 bit.

I run Vista Ultimate 64-bit. 4.5 GB ram, Intel Quad Core Q6600, 300gb memory (without my other drives)
So far, all of my games run flawlessly, and my card never overheats. I have a Geforce 9800.

    Pros:
I have not found a program that is not compatible
    Excellent Game Performance

    Cons:
    Nothing

Phew I can semi-live without glider since they may be down for a long ass while, and if not they are planning to support it. I was just reading around on sites I found from google that it sometimes is incompatable with some programs. I do have a new hard drive I got with 160 GB that has XP on it. Clain, what exactly are you doing when you make new folders and everything. I would love to beable to run Glider if they get a stay, I'm 100% addicted. :P
