Hello mmowned community.

As many of you may know, for the past few years I have been getting a PHD in the field of medicine.

9 Years ago, long before I joined mmowned or before it even existed, I was accepted into medical school and got my medical degree in 4 years.
I then decided to enroll in the field of medicine, as a surgeon.

I then enlisted in my medical residency as a surgeon, and after 5 years of hard work, exams, tests, and various dictations, I am proud to say I have FINALLY finished my medical residency, obtained not only my PHD's necesarry, but

I AM NOW AN OFFICIAL SURGEON OF ONTARIO!

I was accepted in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada yesterday, and I am now a fully enlisted, hard working surgeon!

I would just like to say that this has to be one of the most happiest periods of my life, and I just wanted to share this with the rest of the community!

I guess you can now call me Dr. Bowser2222 !

Congrats indeed, you could probably do surgery blindfolded with that much schooling. I wish i had that kind of motivation.

Thank you everybody, and mind you (those who are amazed by my schooling years I spent) it takes an average surgeon 12-14 years to complete surgery, I was accepted at the ending of 10 years.

If there are some that wonder why, my father was also a surgeon. He too studied, but far more than I did myself. He went to school for 24 years before he became a surgeon! Not because he failed any courses (in fact his average maintained over 95%), but because he wanted to become a MASTER at it, and he succeeded.

So if you think 10 years is alot, imagine going to school for 24!
