Security-enabled wireless? Won't connect

Ok,

I setup my wireless card.. there's a network on it thats security enabled but it doens't come up with a key or anything to type in, so it should work right? instead it comes up saying it can't connect to the network.

I need a fix for this ASAP..

What router do you have? (Brand)

Uhh, im connecting to someone elses router, its like a backup thing.. cause everytime we get capped now i get booted off the net.. so yeah

Update:

I found a way to do it, but now the driver won't start. any ideas?

EDIT: fixed the driver startup thing.

but it still wont connect to the network. lol
