10 Must have Programs

Hey guys, here are 10 programs u must have. These are great programs, that everyone should have. Most are free, but those that arnt have free trials, and if u look around, there are cracks (cracks are not allowed on this forum). Well here the list goes:

1. Mozzilla Firefox ( http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ )
Firefox is an amazing web browser, that doesnt download stupid trojans and spyware like ****ing IE does. IE has a java issue that actually makes it download viruses automatically. Firefox is compatable with many great addons, like adblock plus (removes 90% of all add banners on all websites, so u dont see them all non stop), or gspace (allows you to upload files of any size to your gmail e-mail, so you can use it like a 3gb hard drive), and many more. Firefox also allows tabbed browsing, which is where in one window, you can have multiple tabs, u click the tabs to use different windows.

2. Torrent p2p program: Azureus ( http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php ) and uTorrent ( http://www.utorrent.com/download.php )
Ok i listed 2 programs, because different things work for different people. For me, i use azureus. Just this week azureus came out with a new version (3.0), and i really havent tried it out, but it seems really good, but i prefer the 2.5 version (3.0 has a whole new interface for downloading leagally). Torrent programs allow you to download movies, tv shows, games, applications, ebooks, anything that u can think of computer related. Torrents are files you download off of a torrent website, they are tiny 1 or 2kb size files. Through torrents, u connect to other people, who have the torrent file. What you do is u have seeders (people who have 100% of the file) then there is peers (who dont have 100%). Seeders will upload to peers, while peers are uploading to other peers. The torrent file allows ur program to basically obtain a list of all the seeders and peers, and you can download from then through ur program. I could explain this all day, but torrent programs are amazing. Just this week, i have downloaded lost, scrubs, scary movie 1-4, airplane!, and some applications. Torrent programs create easy free downloads. NOTE: I take no responsibility in you doing anything illegal considered by copy right laws or the RIAA or MPAA.

3. Peerguardian ( http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/ )
Peerguardian is a program that makes it so people like the RIAA (recording industry's association of america) or the MPAA (motion picture association of america) who both try to stop people from downloading music, movies, and files 'illegally' (copy right laws are bs). This program prevents them from connecting to you while u could be doing something illegally. This is a great program when running and torrent, p2p, music downloading program, or anything. I highly recommend this program.
NOTE: This cannot be run while playing wow, as it blocks wow. If u ask, ill find the allow list that allows warcraft. Otherwise, just turn it off when u play wow.

4. SUPER video converter ( http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html )
This is absolutly amazing. This can convert almost any video file, into any others. This can take DvD rips, .avis, and much much more and put them into any format. I use this often for iPod conversions to put on my iPod video. This program works great for putting it into any format, with a easy to use interface. I HIGHLY recommend this program.

5. VLC media player ( http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ )
VLC media player can play any form of media. It can play music, movies, and basically any format. It can play .avis, .oggs, .mp3s, .bins, .cues, and much more that most players could never play. Infact, im using this as i write this to watch scary movie 4. This is a great program, and very easy to use.

6. DvD decrypter ( http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ )
This is a great program, it takes your DvDs and burns them onto your computer. This is great for backing up ur DvDs, keeping DvDs you rented, and using to put ur DvDs on ur iPod. When you use this program (ill put a guide at the end that i use), it will put the file on your computer as a .VOB, which is kind of a massive file (anywhere from 4gb-7gb). Thats where SUPER comes into play, and you convert it into something like a .avi or a .mp4 and itll get down to around .7gb. This program is fast working (takes about 30 min to burn a whole DvD) and very easy to use.

6. Tweakwindow ( http://www.absoluteway.com/TweakWindow/overview.htm )
This is my one of my favorite programs on this list. Tweakwindow gives you many new options to do with your windows, such as stay on top, hide to tray, hide window, transparent, ect. My favorite option is stay on top. When I am playing WoW, while im in full screen mode, (as long as its in windowed mode, looks the same as though it is not) i can put my videos infront of world of warcraft, so i can keep a small video window on my screen, watch a movie, and still go through the boring process of leveling. This program you do have to pay for, BUT you can find cracks for it, or u can use the 30 day trial, or you can buy it for $8. You also can hide your windows, so if you are doing something you are not supposed to, you can click hide window, and it will hide the window, making it impossible to find.
NOTE: When you use stay on top mode, at first the screen will be 50% transparent. If u want to change it to 0% transparent, thats under the options

7. Spybot Search and Destroy ( http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html )
This is a free program that will look for spyware, addware, trojans, and other viruses that affect your computer. You may not realize this, but your computer is LOADED with spyware. I run spybot every day, and i normally come up with 5 or so spyware. Most spyware doesnt do nonstop popups, but it does allow addbanners to see where you live or things ur interested in. This is a really good program and a MUST HAVE. I HIGHLY recommend you run this everyday, as it doesnt use to much proccesing, and it finishes in about 5 min. It can be schedualed, i have mine run at 8:00 in the morning, which is im never running wow or anything at that time normally, so it really doesnt affect me. You should download that right away.

8. KCeasy ( http://www.kceasy.com/ )
This is a great program for downloading stuff. Now torrents are not that good for downloading music, which this program is GREAT for. Unlike limewire or kazzaa, which only search 1 network, KCeasy searches 4, including those that limewire and kazzaa uses. This program works incredibly well and fast. It is easy to use and i highly recomend it.

9. Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ )
Audacity is an audio editor, and is really fun and easy to use. This allows you to open almost any audio file, and you can edit it very easily, by croping, fading, ect. This is really great program, i use it to crop my mp3s so i can put it on my cell phone. This also can work for those who understand how a sound system works (im a sound technician) by u can actually make it so that a whole show done with a sound board into a podcast, cd, or whatever.

10. iTunes ( http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes/ )
This is the last, but certainly not least program on my list. iTunes is amazing for organizing you .mp3s into a great and organized library. Now i have an iPod, so that makes this program a must, but even if u don't, u still have to use this. It is easy to use, works amazing, and really great. iTunes even has a feature called miniplayer, where it shrinks iTunes into a small thing thats just a last pause/play and next button, so that you can easily listen to ur music, and change songs, while doing anything (like playing wow). iTunes is about the only thing, ever, besides iPod, that apple has done right.
