Hey guys,

Warning: Truth be Told

Dirty Secret: I hate living in the US. It's not all bad, but I have my reasons for wanting to leave. I want to continue my education and get my Masters and possibly Doctorate at some schools I've been checking out overseas, primarily in England. I’d also like to be closer to Germany and Italy so I can take vacations there one day (trying to learn Italian right now).

I’m bringing this topic to these forums because the people who come here are generally technically oriented, and are also based mainly in the two countries in question.

What I’d like to know is:

• Have you moved from the US to the UK or vice versa?
• What problems might I encounter? Is it difficult to get a green card to attend school in the UK?
• What about dual-citizenship, or simply, changing citizenship?
• What kind of technical problems will I face (electrical adapter issues, etc)?
• Are their any WoW servers on the other side of the pond that are language based (I would love to have an account on an Italian server!)
• Other Tips?

My goal is to move to England somewhere near the school I wish to attend. If possible I’d like to live there for 5 years minimum, perhaps staying for life if I can cut it as a chubby yank in the motherland.

I’m open from everything to shipping my entire apartment via freight to packing a bag with my laptop and walking out the door. Any comments from people who have experience with these issues would be great!

We don't have italian servers but we have french? :P Anyway you can keep your realmlist US.
Only other thing i have to add is the kids around here are reeeaalllyy cocky.. i mean walk upto you call you a wanker reach into your pocket and try to wonder off with your wallet like nothing happened..
btw to fit in just swear alot and dislike the welsh and french! :wave:
