Opening a simple forum

how much is it to open a basic forum with your own domain? thanks in advance

a domain dont cost much maybe some dollars a month i think, and a forum.. hmm you could either buy a server spot online for your forum, or you could set up your own server to hold the forum up on that domain. And there's also these Free forums that end with .blablabla.blalbla.com wich suck but i think you can pay them so they make the forum to a normal domain, but im not sure.. i have never tried that.
