    Best Graphics card for VIA Chipset?

    I bought an XFX 8800GT a bit ago but I found out that it didn't work with my motherboard (MSI K9VGM-V) because the motherboard was VIA chipset and PCI 1.0a whereas 8800GT doesnt support that or something along these lines. I tried to update the motherboard BIOS but the card still didnt work (even bought a new 600W PSU and case for more cooling).

    I vendored the old card for about the price I payed so I've got some money still.

    So that all my hard work wont go to waste can anyone recommend a graphics card that WILL work with VIA chipsets? The best one preferably. I have a budget of around £150 or $300 well up to £200 or $400 if it's really good and worth it. I'm not sure if the problem is only with 8800GT or if it is with every decent GeForce card, but I would invest in a 9800 if that would work.
