    Favorite Browser?

i would like to talk about internet browsers...this topic is opinion only and there can never be a perfect browser.

Maybe you like internet explorer if you just play on game sites,or saffari for mac users,or maybe it is firefox you enjoy, and how about opera or netscape?

I'm gonna leave out netscape and saffari in this discussion, since i'm only gonna talk about the popular browsers:

    IE7 (Internet Explorer 7):

Okay,in my opinion this is the worst browser ,it is slow, has alot of security holes ,and well...i just hate it...although V.7 of IE has made some improvements .It has tabbed browsing and other new features...but what i really hate about this browser is the fact that it is hardly customizable ...but still a awsome browser for simple things.

    Mozilla Firefox (V2):

Now people are yellling in my ears that this browser is better than IE7,I happily agree with them.It is faster ,safer ,and the most customizable browser ,i like this one because it is extremely user friendly !This browser carried the legacy of Netscape (Which formed from the first browser mosaic.) Firefox is for tech-savvy people in my opinion.I didn't pick this browser because it had add-ons i didn't really need .

    Opera 9.27:

This is,in my opinion, the best browser of all! Opera has everything that firefox had before it was made!

    What I like about Opera:
    Built in IRC
Loads pages more quickly than any other browser (Other browsers reload the pages, opera reloads them by using the cache.)
    Faster
    Safer
Speed dial (Like the favorites tab in IE7,accept 3x quicker, not a real fact on how quick it is with speed dial)
    and alot more

The only problem opera has is that it isn't as customizable as firefox, opera is very customizable, but not as fully as firefox is.Opera is the older sister of firefox.I also reccomend this for tech-savvy people.

I'm not saying switch to opera or anything...

this is a debatable topic, which do you like best?

You forgot the built-in torrent in Opera,

I used Opera and Firefox, now i use Firefox because i didn't really like the loading by cache (refresh in mmowned), and Firefox looks better ;>
Also there are more Addons, but if there wasn't so many community projects for Firefox i'd probably use Opera.

Safari is more popular than Opera :O

Opera is nice with built it IRC and what not, but I prefer Chatzilla which is basicly built in IRC for firefox. IE7 is terrible for some reason my dad swears by it. Firefox imo is just a better cleaner product than opera.

    I'm a firefox user!

Used opera for some time, but i think it's too heavy, and i miss all my addons and such.
And you can make the fast-choose site (custom fav page or smthng, dunno whats it called) by just making a word document, putting the logos of your fave websites, adding a hotlink to them, saving as HTML and using as homepage. And there's unlimited room for the pages too!

    My homepage <3

It's my taskbar in the side, that's why i blanked it

I come from Winland, I speak Winnish and I'm called a 'Winn'

The old plain Mozilla was my favourite for use and layout IMO. It was simple and efficient.
But since they stopped working on it and focus on Firefox I'm going to have to say Firefox v2 (and soon to be v3).

Firefox ftw! IE really sucks, it is now trying to be firefox, but failing miserably and killing itself with crappy additions.
