Here's one we did in a philosophy class - if a fly is buzzing along towards a train and gets hit by it, we could say the fly goes from 0.5 mph to -70mph. For the fly to have gone from 0.5mph to -70mph it would have had to go 0.5mph, 0.4mph, 0.3mph, 0.2mph, 0.1mph, 0.0mph, -0.1mph, -0.2mph, etc. If you look carefully you'll notice the fly went at a speed of 0.0mph, meaning it was stationary, if this were the case than the train would have gone from 70mph to 0mph in less than 1s, and therefore should have crashed due to the forces acting on it. This is basically a modern version of one of Aristotle's anaologies.

    Another one:

Is it possible to have the title Prof. Illogical?

If you have the title and you are not actually all that illogical, then it would be illogical for you to have the title. But if it is illogical for you to have the title then by having the title you would be acting illogically, so it would be logical for you to have the title. You are now acting logically so the chain goes back to the beginning and thus the loop continues.

    Likewise

If you have the title and you are rather illogical in your methods and how you act, it would be logical for you to have the title. But if it were logical for you to have the title, then you would be being logical, and it would be illogical for you to have the title once again. Thus the loop contiues again.

Enjoy turning that one over in your head

I'd just like to point out that 1/3 is 0.33 recurring. By using 0.33 you make the whole sequence invalid as you are rounding a number.

Basically by going out of fractions and into rounded numbers you are cheating - covered that one before in maths 6):
