This is quite funny, but as for getting his info... That is simple.

You can force anyone doing a paypal transaction with you to give you their address and phone on file with paypal. Even if the guy only had the guys address and name he could have gone to White Pages Phone Directory with Free People Search and done an lookup to find the phone. For that matter if he had just the phone he could have done a reverse lookup and found the name and address if it was a listed land line.
