    ArcEmu "Player" Editor Tool?

    Hello,

I'm new here by the way! I just got my server up and running using the Ultimate WOTLK Repack 3.0.3

However, now I am in need of a method to "modify" players characters. For example, I wish to give items to players - but I don't want to have to manually enter the values into the database after searching for the item ID.

Is there a faster/easier way to do this? Perhaps a tool? (not using GM mode please - I am not using GM)

I have been looking for a solution, but to no avail!

    All help appreciated greatly!

    edit:
I would settle for some way to give players items (like, as rewards!) - problem is I'm not entirely sure how to set my account to Game Master. There is a GM field, but what value do I put there? Is it "6"? The default is "az" for admin in my current database.

Thanks edude, but that only works if I am selecting that character. What if they are offline?

Hmm... well, I am not sure how to do that just yet... but I have come up with one solution:

1). Create the items on the GM
2). Edit the database (just change the owner ID for the item)

That will have to do for the meantime, until some kind of player character tool is available (which would be very helpful ima)

Get scripting then! Theres no way of adding items without some sort of server permissions, a script or a reward.

There is a way you can solve your problem.
Open your database, go to the command_overrides table.
    Now add command_name: "lookup item" access_level: "0"

All players now have the command .lookup item
Do this for the "character additem" or any other commands you want them to have.
They can then do this themselves while theyre on the server.

    Just a suggestion.

Well, i dont see your program. xD
You could use a lua script, but depending on the amount of items you wnt in the list it may take a long time to write.
