Not badly writted, fine tutorial.
Except it's WAY out of date in terms of style, might be a good starting point but brushes haven't been used like this for...about, 3 years roughly, back in the days when Metal CX dominated that market.

Try to push your technique/style a bit further, nice for helping out though.

as you can see in my current signatures, i rarely use brushes.
and in they are up to date.

the first step when you brush. Howd u make the edges fade into that color and what effect gave it the "scratched" look?
