that is possible, if you have photoshop and the image is still layered and not merged together. just skip to the text part of the guides and follow those with your text layers. if you think you are going to animate the text in a sig that you are making, just leave the text layers alone and dont do layer> merge visible. hope this helps

What tool are you useing and do you have a photoshop file of your image?
I'd use a .gif tool to animate the text, link me the .psd and I'll animate it for you if you want to.

Re: [Request] Need a lil help :(

What i use for animations on sigs are 2 programs.

Photoshop CS (to make the signature)
    Imageready (to animate it)

Ofc it depends on what kind of animation you want to do.

Heres a way to make text blur in animation like some of those banners you see.
    Step1.

Text motion blur is simply just a matter of duplicating the layer and using a motion blur on it. Your displaying that layer for only 0.1 seconds, so it looks like the text is actually blurring away, then going to the next text. Above is an example of what I'll be teaching you how to do.

    Step2.

Ok, lets start by creating a new document or opening a saved document. Select your text tool and write something. Now, duplicate this layer 2 more times and make it say something different for each layer. Make sure you do not move the text anywhere else, it should still be aligned with the first one.

    Step3.

Again, more duplicating. This time, your going to duplicate those layers you just duplicated. For example, duplicate the first text layer, then the second one, and the third one. Now resterize those 3 your just duplicated. For each one of those resterized ones, go to Filter> Blur> Motion Blur and put in the following settings.

    Step4.

Time to animate those layers you just made from step 1 to step 3. If you started out with 3 layers, you should have 6 now. 3 with regular text, 3 with blurred text. To animate it, all you have to do is step by step. For the first layer in the animation box, just make the first text layer visable. Then create a new animation layer and make it only the animated text show that goes with that one. Now do this with the other layers as well. Look at the image above, the layers match with color cordinates on the animation window & layers window.

    Step5.

Look at the animation window. On the bottom of each layer, it says 0 sec. To change these, just simply click that 0 sec. and change it to what ever. For this tutorial how ever, we need the first layer to be 2 sec., second layer 0.1 sec., third layer 2 sec., fourth layer 0.1 sec., etc...

    And your done!

You have now officialy accomplished your first text motion blur document! If the blurry text kinda looks wierd back in step 3, make sure your layer style is check OFF for stroke. Stroke screws up the look.
