[Help] Making Images Take Less Space

I recently made a sig for myself, but even if I save it as a jpg with 0 on the quality scale (which even if it did fit I wouldn't use), it still is too big for a forum sig. The only reason I can think of this sig being big is because its uses alot of transparency. Is there any way to shrink the size of my image without making the image quality -50 on the jpg scale (no you can't go below 0)?

Saved it as a .gif for you. Reduced from 36 kb to 12.8 kb, quality is lower however because the gradient wont show up in the .gif though. You can see if it'll fit now.

Yeah, it will fit, but I was looking to not loose the gradients. =/

New idea:
SS MMOwned, eye drop the bg color, then add it as a bg layer.
