Whadda you think? For a first signature ever it's pretty good? Hmm?

You add a border and it will look better
Adding some "more" to the background and blending the render would help ALOT
Ok, i think its missing something. Great start though!
The render you have needs to be blended in more colour wise, brush over it to give possibly a haze effect, and duplicate the text with some effects on the lower layers to make the text more interesting to look out.

I was trying to figure out how to blend it last night, but I had a headache and photoshop wasn't working with me. And there is a 1 pixel black border around it E.xodu.s. And again, this is the first time I've even tried to do a signature in photoshop. What do you think I should add in the background, and how do I blur it without making it hurt your eyes to look at?
You've done well, and stick with the 1px borders, its the perfect amount, these beveled borders you see and ugly things are horrific :S
Blending wise i suggest you try again when your in the mood, and with the text do soft zoom or raidial blurs, i cant tell you how it would look without trying it, but test several techniques, look up some guides and think about what your doing. Alot of people do things without thinking of the outcome.
