[Guide] Putting Real Movies in Flash 8

This is a guide to make something like this: The Battle

First, Get Flash 8 If you don't already have it here:

Then, get firefox and this addon

After all that, go to youtube and find a video you want to edit

Ill use [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PGpn4c96ZU"]this[/ame] for the demo

To download the video, click the Download help toolbar icon


Then select your video (.flv extension)


Save the file, then open up Flash 8. Then create a new flash document


Goto File > Import > Import Video

Type in the path on you computer in the text box, then hit next
Then tick the circle next to "Embed Video in SWF and Play in Time line"
Then hit next, and next again
Then finish, and you are done :P

If you know how to animate and work with flash, you can just start editing and adding stuff over the movie. The movie is basically a movie clip.
If you can't work with flash 8, find a tutorial on it, sorry im not a master at it.
Trust me, If you can use Photoshop, Flash will be a breeze
