Phase228's Awesome Sig {TuT}

Well i was messing around with photoshop and i came across a cool sig so im making a tut out of it

This Tutorial Will Include
-How to make a sig
-Making Fade Animation
-A Few Sites Where To Get Your Brushes And Fonts

Well first make a new Doc around 600W-X-100H

Then Click Ok
and right click the gradient tool to bring up the Paint Bucket Tool and fill the sig with Black

it should look like this now

Now use white and get a brush and put some effects on it
Then right click the Blur Tool to bring up the Smudge Tool
now have the effects like...Strength 57% and Brush Size 39 and use the smudge tool and make an image like this


Then Press Ctrl+U and a window will pop up check the box that says colorize and modifiy the sliders untill you get a color you like i chose green for this effect

Then go to
Filter>Stylize>Glowing Edges
you will see this pop-up now modify those settings to get what you like

then Press OK and you will it applyed
Then get a render and erase the background of it and copy/paste it into your sig i didn't erase my render yet

Then after you erase your render
Right-Click your Render's Layer and click Layer Properties

apply those settings-Outer Glow-Gradient Overlay
DONT FORGET to set the opacity of the gradient to 27% or another number depending on how you want it

now look at your sig

Now pick a text you want and add it
now get ready for animation

NOTE: to bring that window up click Window>Animation
ok now that the window is up
click duplicate layer get around 4-6 layers
NOTE: it's the button looking a folded peice of Paper on the animation window

Now Click the 1st window on the animation frame and with that clicked
click on the text layer and change the opacity from 100% to around 27%
and do the same for 2,3,4 and 5
NOTE: Double Click the Windows on The Animation Frame or Else it Probably Will Modify all Frames






NOW set the time by click the Down arrows by the 0sec
i set mine to around 0.2 to 0.1 and the last one i set to 1-2sec

now to save animation you must save it as a .gif
to do so.....
Click
File>Save FOR WEB AND DEVICES> Click ok and pick a name a place to save it

Phase, I have a question. When I save it as .GIF it pop up some settings and I the .Gif is not moving.

well when you do
Filve->Save As
a window will pop saying a few options like Dither no dither
128 Dif no dither and so i use GIF 128 No Dither
and click ok then another window will pop up saying what you want it called just name it save it
Upload it to imageshack.us or another upload site
post it here it should move(or use open with-->Internet explorer
if not you probably messed the animation up if you did ill help you

Nice but the render looked abit choppy, except from that its wicked ^^
