    Wallpaper? - Terragen + 3DS Max

Not the best at either programs so quite a lot of touching up was done in photoshop, tell us what you think could be improved, cheers!

edge between the planet and the iceberg is too defined. you can see the black edge.

bit much on the lens flares.... any way to tone them back?

i'll rep this though its a nice start!

Wow. Really beautiful man. I loved that image. Is this your own made?
One must think like a hero to behave like a merely decent human being.

It looks pretty good to me

The dynamic range is a little short, so maybe if you could export it as a .hdr you would get better editing options in photoshop and could create a proper bloom effect instead of the lens flare. I'm also confused about where the light is coming from. What is the reason for some of the mountains being in shadow, and some of them being in direct light, all while the mountains are partially eclipsed by the planet?

    Tutorial on the planet please!

Yes the shadows are a bit wonky, and the purple color is a bit weird imo.

Shadows and purple are a rendering error in terragen from what I understand, working on a second space scene like this using the criticism here. Cheers guys much appreciated!
