I found, you don't even need to use a tutorial, i made this render:

using only the pen tool, and this is my 3rd render. I know i missed a spot but it's just to show Rayuski what i mean.

Yeah, cutting out stuff isn't the hardest thing to do. But I doubt you know how to cut out effects like the orb in his hand - there are tutorials for that.

Dobbs: you missed several spots, probably because its really painful to use the pentool on this render with all its rough edges

That's what I got using the Polygon Tool with Feather px1(I did miss in between his arms, but I'm more worried about getting the outside good ).. And Dobbs, that's looking very sweet, but that pen tool just really annoys me :P

With Photoshop CS5 there's a new tool to refine edges. Works pretty well
