Hello graphics section! Today I come to you with a very important request for my school's yearbook. I'll give you a quick rundown of what is going on.
We are currently going with a movie theme (theater-ish) anyways at the bottom of every page we have a film stip which on the left side has a black and white clapper ontop of a wavy filmstrip that ends up getting eaten by a film reel. This strip is supposed to have aprox. 20 blank spaces that will be used to hold various headshots of students. This is where I need help.
Our designer created an image but its resolution was much to small to fit on the page which requires a DPI of 300 and an aprox. size of Width: 2400 px by Height: 550 px.
We were hoping to get the strip (that will hold pictures) to look sort of 3d so it looks like an actual film strip while the clapper and film reel can look drawn or fake or real, whatever works in the image.
Anyways, it has to look fairly clean cut in the end as it will show at the bottom of every single page we have.
If you are still confused as to what we are talking about I'll post an example picture below as soon as I get home.
If anyone can help us finish this over the next couple days I would really appreciate it and you will be rewarded.
I'll post more information when I return home, but please leave any comments you have.
UPDATE:
This was our basic concept that I was hoping someone would lend ideas for. You don't have to be a pro! Just know your way around photoshop a little better than me xD.
Thanks again guys!
