Making Text Stand Out
In This Guide i will be showing you how to make
text stand out in a dark backgroundand adding a few things to it =)

Step1:
Well Get a dark background or any background in general i have this

Ok Now make some text Like This



Then Double Click the layer to bring up Blending options(or riight click and click blending options)

Then You should have a window like this

now to bring your text to the Front Click
Drop Shadow ur text should now look like this

Of course it doesnt look standing out that much but we arent done =)

Now Click the drop shadow text and you should see spread move that to around 80% and you will get a 3D looking text

but if u want text to have a blackish around it put distance to 0 then put spread to 64% and it will stand out

Now inner shadow is if u want to bring the sahdow into the text instead of outside(i dont recomend)
Outer glow gice the text a white glow on the outside(which u can change it)
Inner Glow does the same thing except on the inside(u may experiment =P )
Now Beveal And Emblness
heres what it does to my text here

it added a small streak in it almost like a shine now we add contour
Then we add Texture
Looks cool doesnt it =P
(that 1 pic above is contour+texture also)

--Tip--U can also make a custom pattern and put in texture to give ur text that one-and-only look ^_^---

Now! Satin brings a darker color and sometimes a diffrent color all together in ur text heres what mine looks like

Then Color overlay it does look cool if u mess with the Opacity of it which i did i left it at red cuz it stands out here what it looks like

Gradient and Pattern Overlay i do not reccomend for text because it looks weird *_*

Now my Favorite!
Stroke
this adds a nice deep border on the inside or outside of ur text heres mine



I know a simple guide(kind of) but i hoped i helped out any of you that didnt kno this

Hmm i dont actully like this =/ a simple font with some matching colors for the sig is the best looking imo

migraine, the purpose of this tut is how to make text stand out.... not necesarily look good.

if you want someone to read the text, they will definetaly read it with those effects.
