I love it when I can call out what tutorial you watched to make these . Overall there pretty good, might want to increase the height. Its your preference though.

The first one looks good, but the character is .. how should I say it, well hes dark and I can't almost see him, maybe bring him more to the top and show more of him? But that's just imo 8/10
But the second is much better, that would be 10/10

It might look good without, if executed correctly. However the easiest way to improve a signature is to blend. On the other hand, the first signature is over-blended. The dots are disturbing and just in the way. Try sticking to either horizontally or vertically aligned texts, not something in-between.

The light sources are misplaced in both signatures, they're too far away from the focal, thus causing imbalance and unrealism.

I kinda like both. You need to work on lighting though not both of them. Don't just add a big brush and just say oh there ya go thats my lighting... Try using Render < Lighting Effects.
