Becouse I'm merely expressing my desire of achieving by goal after entering a 'contest' with +Rep as reward - no begging/harm done.

Didn't follow a tut, outlined the image you provided and went on from there with gradient, inline and apply image.



I'll share the PSD's (yes, two) after the winner is in, regardless of who it is - though I doubt anyone will learn anything from it since its like over 9000 layers where it could of easily been done with 2.

You posted this right before me, so let me get started:

Hoping to win is natural, true. But saying 'I hope this gets me closer to contrib. is obviously implying that you would like +rep, as that is the only means to get to contrib. Hence asking for rep.

Actually, seeing as the tut GIVES you the PSD, i think that he ripped it from there and just changed the color. Because it is the EXACT same shape.
