i can't really give too much critique, everything needs work (blending, depth, colours etc). all i can say is don't use filters to make your background and look up some tuts.

3/10 Because I like the render, no text, don't blend well.

The render doesn't fit the Background, you may take more flow. Narudan got some GREAT Sig-Tuts! I'll post the link later, must look for it
