Re: My 1st Pop out Sig

When you crop out any texture / character / etc. Anything you will be putting into your sig you should try going into detail as close as you possibly can.

The Zoom function is your friend.

Not sure if you use Adobe Photoshop CS2, I know I do and here is probably the easiest way (for me atleast) to crop out an image.

    http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c2...ence/lasso.jpg

It's called the Magnetic Lasso Tool. You simply draw around the outside edges and it will do it's best to latch onto a color change for you, so you don't have to be precise. Clicking frequently tends to keep this real smooth and tight to the image, also when you're done you can use the Elliptical or Rectangular Marquee tool (top left) and hold either Alt (to remove from) or Shift (to add to) your cropped out image. This will add or remove possible mistakes from your image. After you're done with that simply cut and paste the cropped image into your signature layer and move freely from there.

As far as the making it blend in part, I just set my background image mode to transparent rather than a set color via Photoshop and create my images inside the transparent background. This causes all the transparent space to take on whatever it's placed on top of, like the MMOwned background. ^.^

Hope this helped, best of luck.

I was going to crop out that image to show as an example but it's 5 am and I'm FAR too lazy so I think I'm going to just go to sleep.

Re: My 1st Pop out Sig

Adding on to what Gankstir said make sure you make use of the Layer function. This way if you do a bad job of Cropping your render its a lot easier just erasing if its on a overlaying transparent Layer.

Oh and just a little but of extra advise make sure you always use the Blur and smudge feature for things like this; it can make all the difference.

Re: My 1st Pop out Sig

So I took like 20 minutes to make a "pop out" sig of my own.

    http://img71.imageshack.us/img71/2484/sigtest1na6.gif

That's a link to it, and for some reason it keeps saying, "File dimensions cannot exceed 600w by 80h.

Any reason why? Do I have to donate? I'm just mildly confused. :x

Re: My 1st Pop out Sig

Ahh, good point, didn't look at it at the time. Was trying to figure out a sexy way to put the text in.

But yeah, too bad I didn't save the .psd lol, I'm way too lazy to do it all again.
