There was a contest, but both of them lost, because they didn't submit any sig till the deadline.
Then Royal made a thread ( i dunno where it is now) which was supposed to be a continuation of the contest, and he set the deadline to ~1 day (correct me if im wrong). He made it a Rule, that if there was no work submitted the last posted signature of the artist was taken as entry for the contest.
As far as i know Bjfox neither participated nor even saw that thread.

Yeah, I knew about the contest.
Didn't know about the second thread.
Didn't know about whether or not Bjfox knew.
So I geuss we need him to confirm...

Okay, got that out of the way. BjFox, you are just mad that I won. You knew the deadline, and we both had problems. You were online when I made the first thread, and each users latest work of art was taken. I made up the contest not way2evil, he just offered to make the thread and a $15 prize. If we didn't make the deadline, he just wasn't offering the prize. I extended it one day, and I also thought ways contest ended sunday night. You missed it again, so I took your latest work on the forums. I won, or at least I am winning by a good amount, so pack up your bags, and stop flaming.

Actually bjfox is right and i can understand him fully even though his post was harsh.
And i don't think its a misunderstanding, the thing is that Royal lost the chance to show that he is better than Bjfox, and now he created this thread to make it up.

I cant just create a thread, take on of your sigs, put it against mine, call for a vote and call it a "contest" That would even harm some copyright laws

The fact that he was online doesnt mean that he saw the thread or that you had his agreement to enter him in a contest.
Your latest work of art was an entry for the contest, his was a crappy random sig.
If i make a thread and set the deadline 10 minutes, do i win? I guess so. But what would that prove?
Thats the point where my post would change into flaming so i'll stop.
Also i think a 1 Week Deadline for a Signature contest is far too long, if it was shorter you probably would've both entered some piece.

Well it is not a misunderstanding as stated by Royal himself. To say that Royal would have won is really a silly statement as BJfox could have made something splendid for the contest. Instead the sig entered on his part was chosen by Royal because it was the last sig BJfox made. He also had every right to be that harsh, his work was posted by someone else without permission, and the way it was posted kinda fits the same idea as slander or defamation of character. It was demeaning as far as how it was posted and put out there.

You didn't win anything, if you did win something it would be the loss of my respect. Just because he was online does not mean he saw the post, I am online all the time here and miss a lot of things, as do many other people. You both missed the dead line and you both lost.

So get off your high horse and man up and offer an apology.
