Are you talking about the slashed lines in his signature?



You have to open a new transparent picture, very small, like, 5x5 pixels.
In the picture draw a diagnal line going from the top left, to the bottom right.

Save that as a pattern.


Then find your fill in your original picture (make a new layer ), choose pattern, and choose your pattern.

Then just choose the transparency for the lines.


Going purely off memory, sorry for the lack of details.
