    [Request] Guild logo

    My guild has decided to hold a contest for a logo to attach to our boss screen shots and such. The winner gets 2000g and although I am level 80, I am very poor. If someone could find it in their heart to make me a logo or atleast give me some tips on how to make a good one it would be greatly appreciated.

    My Guild is alliance on Skullcrusher[US] and the name is Crown. The image has to be 1x8? (that's what my guild leader said)

    ahem... vouch Narudan. A logo and a banner are two very different things. Logo's will generally appear on more media surfaces, i.e a newspaper, a CD, a TV commercial, a small phonebook ad, tee shirts and so forth. Given that, it needs to easy to adjust in size, it needs to be simple, and easy to apply to such stated media.

    n00b GFX artistAn artist must be willing to criticize their own work.

    if anyone still wants to make a logo with crown and the word skullcrusher on it i would be eternally greatful. Also if anyone plays world of warcraft and is on skullcrusher I will split the money with them. It has to be 1280px × 157px at most and have no background. thanks

    Shouldn't it be fairly simple to remove the background and change the text? Assuming you used photoshop..
