[Discussion] How did you get introduced to Photoshop?

As title suggests, how did you find out about it?

Personally, I was at a friend's house and he had it. He then showed it some, not until a year after or so I started looking at it myself.

So, how did you?

mm, years back.. i am a reaslistic artist so sigs like Piersd' s above me... i hate doing, will never do, cant handle doing ... hurts my eyes on the brightness level, but back to topix;
i was doing art projects for highschool and man was i nub for the stuff i turned in.. too kme roughly 9 months to get a firm grasp on how to do everything. i now do artwork in photoshop that goes to competitions yearly... =)

I found out about 1 year ago (idk) and messed around for it FOR DAYS. I never could make anything great, at first I thought I was going well but then I saw some other peoples work.. Lol, I don't have a ''artistic flare'' .. I suck at it. I can't make anything unless I really have specific directions (like building something). I'm not creative ;p

I was introduced to Photoshop a long time ago, but never really started using it till June of 2008, when I started up my website and needed a matching template, so I made my own template. After seeing how it influenced sales I started learning more about it and implementing it into my web design. It was not until about December of 2008 that I actually started using it for images rather then web templates.

He posted a tutorial on Gimp for making signatures, and I took to it pretty well, and from there I *cough* bought photoshop.
