[Showoff] Custom Signatures

Hey guys iv made some custom signatures i just started this week so im pretty new to photoshop. If you have any Tips i could be glad to hear what you have to say. Thanks

what version of PS are you using?

Im using PS Cs4. I haven't been able to find any good tutorials so if you have any good ones plz link some

try not to use the "effects" on text, ie. bevel, stroke, drop shadow. also, dont use filters to make a background, use brushes or smudging.

Work on your text, but it's a good start for a beginner, just find some tutorials. (there are plenty online) And keep practicing.

The effects on the text are kinda generic, and most often, they just need a layer effect as opposed to blending effects, I guess it really depends on the image your working with though.

CS4 really can't be that much different from Cs3, and I KNOW there are plenty of good guides out there for CS3.

I will be posting some guides up a bit later, after I make them of course so you can always use them as well.

It is an image so it will be posted in this forum. I would have had it done sooner, but its something I am doing in my spare time so if other things in my life need to be done, naturally they will come first. It is almost done though. Today has been a hectic day :S

Never Bevel in as sig! It ruins it!
