How to Apply A Signature and Avatar to your Profile

You need at least 5 reputation points to show your signature on mmowned, if you have the required points go to "User CP" at the top of your screen, then "Edit Signature" on the far left and upload it. Space given per user for the signature increases with rank and rep, Site Donators get huge sig space and Avatars... so Donate :] You also gain the ability to link in your signature!

Or you can Upload the img to a site such as Tinypic or Imgshack then cop the url and put it in [IMG] [/ IMG] tags

The Avatar is the same only select "Edit Avatar" then upload the file. Or you can Upload the img to a site such as Tinypic then cop the url and put it in [IMG] [/ IMG] tags

The Signature appears at the bottom of a post you make, the Avatar appears alongside you username.

How do I gain 5 reputation?

Reputation is given by other users as a "reward" for helping them or contributing make new informative or useful post contribution in the right sections and people may choose to rep you =]

I wrote this because I have had many PMs about how you do it, and have seen many people asking the question.

Remember guys, keep your sig clean! any innapropriate signatures or avatars will be edited by mods or admins and you risk site bans.


The first Signatures you are allowed to add are considerably smaller than these sizes but can be resized so that they can be used.

Common Signature sizes:

400*130
400*120

Long signatures:

500*110

Avatars:

80*80
100*100
120*120
200*200

i wouldn't recommend uploading a signature to mmowned. upload it to a image hosting site and then paste in the img code so you don't lose any quality.

I'm sorry, but, in my own opinion, if you can't figure out how to do this without a guide (IE: On your own), you do not deserve to have an avatar or a signature.
