hey guys thanks to a very nice mmowned member i got PS back and was starting to edit some of my old stuff to get back into it.
No one probly remembers but a while back i posted a signature of Zul Jin and it was pretty suck lol.
i updated it so its a little better :P please rate/cc and tell me what i can do to the text cuz it looks so plain

For the text and the render you can use blending options. BTW why is every 3rd word blue in your posts lol?

anyway OT: how to help you with the text? get rid of it. unless its a form of advertisement the text should not be so large and such a great focus of the sig.
make the text smaller if you want to keep it so its not such a massive focus. and remember the rule of thirds when making you're sig, putting youre main focal on the far side doesnt attract attention to it.

Also as a general thing when creating a sig do not create a background and then add youre render, start with either a plain b ground a canvas with one colour from youre render, then add youre render, then work around youre render. do not just brush lots onto a background and add the render afterwards because they will not blend. try erasing/fethering the edges of the render a bit and brushing them outwards with either some soft brushes or the smudge tool.
start with that first and then work up from that to add more detail to youre sig once you get comofortable with the basics. after that you can start adding some simple lighting to the sig, effects to create movement and flow etc.
also when doin text pick a colour from you're render that you like or suits the sig well and work from that as the text colour. the plain white text in this contrasts too much against the white in the canvas background. just keep practicing with some simple things first and remember that with text you don't want that as the sig focus, you want it to be there complementing the piece's focus.

Uhh...O.o...yeah..the new one after using that tutorial...Ugh...Please refrain from using yellow against a green background like that :| sorry, that's just my opinion. As for the part where it says "The Toxic Deer @ Mmowned", a lil tip, make that smaller, much smaller, it doesnt need to be as big as it is

ya nice job only thing i recomend is not using brushes for your background. use a stock and blur and modify.

I think I put too much blur on it. Might re-do it and make a grunge sig. Yeah... thats right.
