    [Showoff] Wallpaper

i just downloaded Photoshop a few days ago and was reading some tutorials.
i made the dripping paint effect with brushes to get the look of the new Ipod nano ads. i made everything except the Iphone . (got that from google)
i think i did well, have not used photoshop before so I'm trying to get familiar with the program anyway, what do you think??

    V2

    I really like it.

Good job. I may actually use it. It's nice and simple with some
really cool effects. Based on it's simplicity and the fact that
it's your first try at Photoshop, I'd give it a 7-8/10.

    Keep it up!

I like the second one better 'cause of the magic line
(or what ever you want to call it) actually wraps around
the iPod giving it a cooler effect.

i used the Pen Tool to make a curly line then added a glow to it to get that effect.

I like it, simple and nice as a wallpaper should be in my opinion.
To improve you should make something more with the background, a radial gradient is quite boring.
Although it fits with this. You could maybe mix two colors or something like that.

You should use a bigger brush for the pen tool work, the line fades out way too much at the very tip of it.

And last, the iPhone which you got from Google got a thin white line around the edge.
To erase it, Hold control and click on the iPhone layer's thumbnail to select the iPhone only.
Go to Selection at the top bar, scroll down to Modify and on the sub-menu pick Contract. Choose 1px wide and hit Ok.
Press alt, control and I to inverse the selection and then press Delete on your keyboard to erase it.

Overall it's a very appealing wallpaper and it's definitely very nice for a beginner.
If I would have to rate, I would give it a 8/10.

It really does look good WoW King. I love seeing what people do with the apple products. Ive see 1 like this with the iPod Touch and the new Nano and they look cool.
This is definitely a good job with doing that type of style. I would have to agree with Narudan and Reflection with the pen size. It does fade out a bit much at the top
and bottom of the line. Other then that well you could zoom in a bit more and erase parts of the line because I can see parts were it should be erased. But thats not
too important. SO yah, great job on your first creation. OH and nice pick for the google image. good quality 8/10
