She's called Lightning (jap. ライトニング, Raitoningu) and is a character from Final Fantasy XIII.

theres a difference between "simplicity" and "plain"

the render blends in which is good to see. though the black splatters and scanlines don't really fit in at all and the sig is far too big (imo). the text is kinda, huge. use a different font, make it smaller, change the colour so it blends with the sig (but make sure you can still read it) and maybe get rid of some of the effects.

The size is so that I can resize it later, I always do that with all pictures I make (if possible :P)

'Cause I personally think that it becomes too plain with just this, it's like... Nothing to it :S

Definatly true but i think it looks fine on the second sig. But i do wonder what it would be with a clipping mask

There, that's how it looks clipped, one question though, what is the difference between clipping and just changing the opacity on the specific layer? :S
