My Vote goes for Jwicky,

On the first look Krips looks better, but when i looked longer at Jwicky's sig i noticed more details ..

Krip's sig:
+very nice shadow/light
+very nice flow
-i don't like the text :/
-the render isn't blended in on the left ( though you only notice that when you keep staring at that sig)
-shoulders ain't so good focal points :/

Jwicky's sig:

+Very nice light,
+Very nice flow and i like the text
- could be more shadowing at the bottom
- the pattern in the top of the sigs doesn't fit so well

Exaplanation: not too say Jwicky's piece was bad, i think if this was based on pure technique rather than personal preference i would have gone with the other sig. it's just from a personal point of view i prefer the style of Krip's and also not too keen on the glow effect on Jwicky's just seems unecessary.
for me what i really like in a sig is lighting/depth and i feel Krip's is just better there. Jwicky your left side of the render confuses me because the lighting on the right hand side and the shadowing conflicts the left. also your text isn't bad it fits well, Krip's text is the one that needs work, it just doesn't fit with the style of the sig and is too dark

overall from a personal preference view that's why i picked Krips however i do feel Jwicky's is a technically better sig in parts(the more i analyse them both it looks better and you notice more details) however it just doesn't have the same feeling of depth that i find from Krips because of the lighting and shadows (also that glow thing at the top i think is more detrimental to the sig than it is beneficial, just doesn't fit, sorry still great though)
