I decided to try something *larger* in Photoshop, something other than small Sig-size pictures, so I decided to make an mmowned background!

Errrrr Would have been nicer if you atually Croped the image to the Size of the resolution instead of adding a black border.

The way you have it now i could get the same results by taking the same image with no border at a high resolution and Making it my Wallpaper and just using the "Center" feature with a black backdrop.

Well thats how I think it looks best :/

And if I took off the black border, I would not be able to do the square resolutions. (Without cropping it, making it look like crap)

If you want it without the border, just request it :P

I hate red fog. Never looks good at anything.
Text is too simple and looks blurred out. Make it clearer, and make it fancier.
Renders...personally I'm not a fan of any of those. I'd rather have an abstract background or one character render. Not 3-4.
That would be my constructive criticizm. ; )

I would use other fonts, but I can't find any that don't look like crap and are free.

I can do blue, purple, green, pink, etc fog

look at all the contribs plus roll in as soon as an elite or someone popular makes a thread in the graphics section.

it isn't really that much, red background, three renders with lowered opacity, some blurry text and a black border. the three renders don't fit in well and the opacity makes them look even worse. there are plenty of fonts that are free and don't look like crap... go to dafont.com. give your wallpaper a focal point, somewhere that gets your attention. also, work off a render, make the colours fit with the render (try to use one render).

follow some tutorials, they always help...

i dont like the grudge brush specially because there need alot of stuff, its like only colour,3-4 renders and a brush, you could make some colour changes and another background because it looks boring. and where the **** is illidan's wings!? he looks like a sissy girl!
