    [Tutorial] Grafitti with Photoshop CS2

Okay, so since i had some problems with ppl saying i "copyed" this tutorial, witch i didnt do on purpase, i changed the pictures so it certenly isnt "copy'ed" anymore.
(btwn, my whole text and way of doing this is different than the original tut does/sais)

So u ever wanted to spray grafitti somewhere in a legal way ? whel u can with photoshop :-)

First find a picture of the object u wanna do with grafitti, i took this car.

Now open that pic with photoshop and make a text layer with the text u want on the wall as grafitti (or a picture)

Now in ur layer window pres ur right mouse buttong on ur text/image layer and choose Rasterize Type.
(make sure u pic colors and stuff first before u do the rasterize)

Now u will have to do the following:
    Edit --> Transform --> Perspective

Now play a bit until ur text fits the wall/object (in perspective), if the text is to wide u can press CTRL+T to resize it.

Ur almost done now, all u need to do more is change the layer's blending mode to overlay.

    Now u get this:

U may not be statisfied with the resault u get <.<

So what u gonna do then is play a bit with the layer styles, the best is to pic from:
    _Overlay
    _Soft light
    _Hard light
    _Vivid light
    _Linear light
    _Pin light
    _Hard Mix

Until u get something u like, i needed to pic Hard Mix instead of Overlay cus now it looks more like grafitti colors.

That's pretty neat, Condor, I knew most of it though. Good job.

thanks i think its a nice simple tut, the outcome on the text i think could have a bit of work (tbh not sure where, but just doesnt look right somewhere; think its just the text choice because its so bold and large)
and i really like the outcome with the render works nicely.
so yeah overall quite a basic but effective effect that i think could help alot of people and teach them the basics of layering/light/perspective.

cant beleive it tbh, first looking at tutorial i wondered wether it had been copied and was going to post but his name on the text on the wall made me believe he did come up with it

schocking really someone with so much rep needs to cheat rep out of people, can understand a leecher or something doing it for some quick easy rep but not someone with contributor status wheres -rep when you need it (would take my+Rep back if i could as dont believe in plagiarism) atleast if you used another tutorial and recreated it post that you recreated it and you might get rep for effort

hmz, didnt copy it, just know how to do this and didnt find a tut here (for grafitti, i know how to use search button) so i just posted my way to do this...

*could be i maybe learned it once from the link u posted... cus i learned it on some site, and i copy'ed the wall from that site to my pics folder, so maybe u found the site where i learned to do this.

But i just did not copy it to gain rep or something, i did it to learn a thing or 2 to some ppl.

he said he saved it beforehand

yeah sorry condor if you really did make it but when put with the link to the others and yours i hope you can see how bad it looks as though its copied. perhaps to avoid this in future write : i did not make this. no need to put a link if you dont know it, but it just helps clear things up and prevents things like this happening. because when you dont admit something straight away it makes it look like you were purposely hiding it (not saying you were but thats how it sometimes appears)

so yeah sorry if you did make it
