How did the patched one work?

I know there was one that's now patched too, you would fill your invent so you're encumbrant, have mats in storage and try and craft, you would end up with the crafted items but the mats weren't used. (kind of like the town board xp thing). Ive tried a few different ways recently to try get it to work again but no luck yet.

I also remember there was a really old dupe on wow where you would initiate a trade and walk into a dungeon while accepting and with the right timing both players would end up with the item. If anyone has two accounts or a friend on same server this may be worth testing? Also when you log out if your in combat your body stays for over 1min, so maybe aggro a low level pig or something, then start trade, hit accept and alt F4, you're body is gonna hang around but you would have DC'ed?? also worth a shot

2) cancel order and alt f4
3) u get back listing fees 2x

I spent about 12 hours trying to do something with the trading post and never got anything to work, buy orders, sell orders, single posts, single buys, shaking the window, alt f4, lag switches, pulling form invent, pulling form storage, pulling from sell orders in every combination i could think of. If there is a trading post dupe still active its more complex then these steps.

i also tried all of this for a couple of hours and no success. i did see someone leak an old method that just got fixed. hopefully the working one gets leaked 😭
