    PSA: Update your graphics drivers

You can get quite a drastic change in framerate if you update your graphics drivers. I noticed mine were only a couple of months out of date so figured it wasn't a big deal. I get an extra ~40FPS with the new ones.

Hope this can help someone .

    Just an additional note:

To people like me who were using the nVidia 337-Beta driver: There is a full version out now. Just came out a few days ago.

I'd suggest updating to the latest, whether you're using NVIDIA or ATI. I also drop in framerate in highly populated areas but luckily it's still high enough to look nice. Before I updated, however, I was getting FPS drops and spikes everywhere, and my computer was even struggling to handle empty areas. The new driver really did wonders for me.

There is a known issue with this game and AMD cards. Apparently, the devs only optimized the game with Nvidia.

I'm running the latest drive AMD drivers right now and am only getting 15-20 fps max.

There are several threads about it on the main forums or just google "wildstar amd video card."

The latest I've heard on this is that they are currently working with AMD to sort it out but I'm not aware of any confirmed fixes yet.

i'm running 2 r9 270x's (only 1 works in this game, no crossfire support). i get 100+ fps on all low settings (normal rendering though) in MOST zones. illium it drops down to 30-40.

i noticed a HUGE fps increase going from borderless fullscreen > fullscreen. much more so than in any other game i've played, i was getting 30 fps max on all low in borderless fullscreen before hand, so i got a 70 fps boost. pain in the ass having to full it in fullscreen mode, but 70fps is worth it.

had the same problem on my 780 ti and this fixed it. I think these days the first thing I do when having gfx issues is make sure drivers are up to date lol.

Just a sidenote, if you are running Nvidia drivers/card, by default with the new drivers, there is a service called NvSteamSvc or NvSteamService. It takes around 15% CPU, so it might make your game run slow. Be sure to check that it is stopped.
