How do you get it to run in 32bit AND dx9? Whenever I -dx9 on 32bit shortcut it won't launch.
actually this problem is about interface dev and network developmen too, becauses quests/npcs get stuck in specific instances of the server, so the script being run doesn`t reset. its some sort of emergent behavior from the way the server negotiates player action and instances while interacting with the script. they said they tried to fix it 2x times already. the npcs which behave in a complex way in quests usually have this emergent bug. sometimes when you are able to change your instance by grouping with other players, the quest resets.
No. But I think they have limited resources and maybe there is a non-zero probability that they will start focus on server security and anti-cheats later. My intuition is that they will deploy certain core modifications to the server that overlaps with server anti-cheats methods, so they can't implement everything at the same time. Maybe client-side cheats will come first because that doesn't depend on server-related network resources. I don't know, really, but they have many complex emergent bugs with their server architecture and quest scripting right now that I think their staff is heavily focusing on that. If they are being honest about not being able to fix emergent bugs with their server architecture and scripts after several iterations, I guess their best programmers are actively working on that instead of implementing server side methods to detect cheats. Maybe if they only need some sort of minor logging process to detected anomalies in player entities, then I'm wrong, because that wouldn't require core modifications to how the server tracks and control player activity.

Post from a dev on a reddit thread about the x,y,z teleporting:
Hey There,
I was just talking to our GSU (Game Surveillance Unit) team lead. They are investigating and catching these players as fast as they can.
We also have our Dev and engineering teams working on new counter measures that should go live shortly.
Believe me. We hate this as much/ or more as our players.
Not sure if I should be scared of that or not...
When my cousin came over and kept typing the wrong password it locked the entire house out for an hour.
Even if I get banned I'll just come back, but what about the others living here?
