You do not need to register software for basic protection. In the US, software is considered to be a literary work for copyright protection purposes. Registering gives you additional rights, as with all other creative works. I know this for a fact. Please show me the document where it says otherwise, and I will be shocked and amazed. The document you linked covers how to register various types of material but that's it.

You get xp for kills regardless of mission success.

So everything worked great up to lvl 20 (escort quests ) but now trying to do Makem (lvl 20) the bot seems to shoot all the flyers but only targets and takes out about 3 of the 14 cannons. I fail 100% of the time because it never targets cannons. What can i do to fix this or make it better? Thanks!

Herm - everything is good with settings? Low Quality and 1024x768 in the top left corner? Markem worked perfect for me...

That being said - Is anyone working on putting in some additional missions? I was trying to learn how to do it myself - but took one look and gave up hehe.

Hm im starting to think its not even possable to do Sullust. im a level 41 Bounty hunter with full upgrades. Do i keep auto spin on? I still run into rocks somtimes even though iv tampered with the timers. Even when i get it not too run into the rocks. i can never survive that big waive, How do i get the bot to use the 1234 buttons too. Thanks

love the bot is there some way you could put more space missions for low lvl ones and make a random mission opiton so not doing the same one's other then that ill keep using

Update:

I've been able to get the bot working properly. It's still fragile.. if I don't restart or the slightest thing goes different/wrong the bot fails... but it can run missions + crewskills now.

I cannot get Sullust working.. I get 98% failure because of running into rocks... no matter what settings.. The ship almost ALWAYS runs into the rocks after the big wave of x fighters...

Aetan is a hassle too... I got FULL epic gear on my ship and pre 1.2 I could run Aetan missions at 100% succesrate. now I get 33 wins - 23 losses after 5 hours of play time.
The losses are never due to dieing, but always due to NOT having completed the mission... I get 44 and 47 Raven Bombers destroyed A LOT..

Yeah all my settings are correct but it only fights jets. I rarely shoots ship cannons and that's what's needed to finish the quest. Any idea?

He's referring to Makem Te. A problem I am also having. Don't think there is a solution for it.

16th of April

- Installed newest ATI drivers.
- Manually moved the window to top left corner.
- set all graphic settings to VERY LOW
- Rebooted the game.
- I changed all the graphic settings to LOW. Never did that before and in 4.02 it worked fine, however because I didn't do it before I forgot to now.
After I did this I saw a definite performance increase.
- Turned on Barrel Roll improved my survivability on missions a lot, less damage taken. However on Sullust it also runs the ship into rocks, where it otherwise wouldn't have....
- Tweaked the timing a lot.. 70600 - 36600 : Seems to go ok. No Collisions on the first rocks. Small collissions after the biggest fight point (frontal assault) and no collisions on Last rock.

After having done this I got some moderate success on Sullust. Unfortunately though.. SWTOR crashed and the bot froze (couldn't shut it down anymore) after about 5 runs.
What I don't understand is why it started being so bugged with the newer versions after 1.2 came out. My friend is using 4.1 and it runs smooth. 4.02 ran perfect for me on 1.1.5.. so what's the difference? I Also installed the newest ATI drivers, but this has had no impact.

You have described a lot of issues that i dont have while testing the bot.
For me the bot runs quite good. After a bit of tweaking i got on 40 runs on Drexel 32 wins and 8 losses.
All missions seem to work and i havent experienced a bug in Crewskills so far.

To give you an explanation on "Last rock": As the name says its the last rock on the mission that need to be avoided.

It seems that the "triggered" mission start doesnt work correctly anymore as it has before so i will remove it in the next version.
Triggered: waits for ingame timer, Standard: starts right after the loading screen.

Can someone please explain how to prevent the game from logging out due to being AFK when running ONLY crew skills? I don't want to run space missions, just crew skills, but it logs me out because of inactivity.

Any advice is appreciated.

You shouldnt get logged out because the bot usually presses the cancel button on the logout message.
I will do some more tests until i´m sure that it works properly.

I still cant successfully complete 1 mission on any char with 4.1. Syravis on my consular its not firing any lasers only using bombs, still hits a rock before u enter the valley and fails it as soon as you exit the valley cause it not killing the ships you need. I had to move the window to even get the bot to automate the clicks to get in the mission and now it hardly does any thing. I just barely finish it with a full epic geared ship on syravis i just use missiles the whole way and no power conversion module.

Its because your computer is too slow for the current setup. I will fix it for the next version.

Please, i just need to know if it happens with everybody or just me, so i can find a solution.

It hasnt happened to me so far. The game does only close for me if i do click outside of the game window while beeing in a loading screen.

anyone can help me plz? for some reason when i start a missions the ship just shoot missiles and dont hit with lasers, some one could help me plz?

Are you talking about a specific mission or just all missions?

No of course not, therefore you should deactivate them.

Hi Lucky I just want to thank you for this great bot, really made my offbotting experiance alot more fun " without the credit grind ".
I am not sure if you wil update the bot after you released the source, but I hope you will.

If so I have sugguestion for the bot, as fo 1.2 you wont get fleet commendations anymore from doing the mission. You will only get them by doing daily missions ( 2 missions per daily quest ).
My suggestion is that if you make a new button for the bot with a code that will do all of these missions after eachother. Lets say you have a level 50 character with all the daily's and you wake up in the morning start your PC and login to the game.

Run to your ship and get all the daily's from your cockpit room, place your character at the galaxymap and hit that button. Now the bot will do all of these missions starting from the lowest one wich is Jabiim Escort on the Imperial side. It will now do all the space missions in order for the daily quests in a loop until your stop it with f2/f4.

It doesnt matter if it does all the quests the entire day or if you stop it when its done all the quest, it will work either way. If it by any chance fails a missions it can just press the leavemission button and do it again until its a success.


This would be a great way of making credits in the game because of the things you now can buy for fleet commendations.

You have to use qwerty keyboard layout and leave quickbar button 1 to 4 on standard. Its very important you got that working because without electronic warfare pot there is no way to survive.

Also works for me dont know why you guys have problems with it. Please make sure all graphic ettings are set to low and bloom is off.

Not sure if latest small patch & server restart today had anything to do with it, but since then i've had close to 100% fail ratio Syvris, which before was pretty much 100% success rate.
