Nope, nothing works for me. Still broken post 1.2.1

Hi all:

My results from last night to this morning (4/25) for Lucky's bot:

Republic, Jedi Consular
Pakuuni (sp?)
76 wins - 1 losses

Lucky's Bot, v4.2, Standard Loop, NO adjustments to code made.


This is how I make sure the bot is running on my system, correctly:
(I would suggest you try these steps before assuming any adjustments need to be made to Lucky's code. If you DO need code changes, this is not the solution you seek...)


1. kill all other programs running on my PC.
2. set my monitor's resolution to 1280 x 1024
3. start SWTOR.
4. set resolution on SWTOR to Windowed / 1024 x 768, left taskbar OFF, right taskbar ON
5. move SWTOR to top left of my monitor screen (flush left, slight gap along top)
6. did moving SWTOR to top left resize it? (not 1024 x 768?) YES = goto 7, or NO = goto 8
7. resize SWTOR to 1280 x 1024. OK. resize SWTOR to 1024 x 768. OK. goto 5
8. EXIT out of SWTOR completely
9. Re-start SWTOR, verifying that SWTOR starts in same EXACT spot (top left of my screen)
10. Login with my desired character.
11. STOP any existing tradeskill missions on that character.
12. Launch Lucky's bot.
13. I usually run tradeskills/Slicing. (note applicable position for yours... Left/Middle/Right)
14. Set tradeskill companions to the maximum # which can go out for my guy.
15. Select and START applicable space mission button. quickly, goto 16
16. click on SWTOR screen somewhere, usually along the top, but not right on border
17. WATCH the bot, as it successfully starts all tradeskill missions. (if applicable)
18. Is bot in a loop on tradeskills? NO = goto 20, YES (1st/2nd time here) = stop bot + goto 19, YES (3rd time here) = stop bot + goto 4
19. REDUCE (by ONE) the # of people I send out on tradeskills, goto 15
20. WATCH the bot, as it successfully starts the space mission.
21. did bot successfully start space mission? NO = stop bot + goto 4, YES = goto 22
22. at end of bot, does it REPEAT mission successfully? YES = goto 24, NO = stop bot + goto 23
23. Change to Standard/Alternative Adaptive/Alternative Loop (try each in turn) + goto 15
24. profit.



These are other things I check, if applicable...

Am I not killing enough stuff?
YES --> Make sure I have all upgrades

Is my ship dying too often before end of run?
YES --> Make sure I have all upgrades

Am I hitting the last rock in Sullust?
YES --> Adjust second Sullust timer by + or -300. repeat. WATCH bot again. repeat until I DO NOT hit that big rock at the end.

Does the ship not fire missles/lasers, or does timing appear way off? (the only thing the above numbered steps will not counter)
YES --> Your PC may be too slow, or timing adjustments may need to be made (within the bot)
wait for Lucky or someone else to put out a new version, adjust the code.

Are you using a widescreen monitor? If so, this may help you out...

Set in-game resolution to 1024x768 and make sure you're using Aero Theme. Make sure the game window is in default position and the bot should run just fine."

unfortunately this didnt work, the mouse still clicks in the middle of nowhere.

I suggest you set your desktop resolution to 1280x800 and then change your swtor in-game resolution to 1024x768 and make sure it's in windowed mode. Restart your game once these settings are changed, then stand in front of the chair in your ship, minimize to run your bot and select which mission you want (the first two work for me but I'm having trouble with Ezran lvl 28 ) It's very important that you're standing right in front of the chair in your ship and that the camera angle is focused so that you can see the back of the chair.

Your guy's position is very important, and he should be either sitting in the chair, or standing just in front of it. He needs to be straight on, relative to the ship's window.

Try this, and see how it works...

Click on the chair, this should take you to the galaxy map where you could select a space mission. (more importantly, this makes your guy sit in the chair)
Do not select a space mission, but return back to your ship.

Now, you guy should be in the correct position.

As for how far behind your guy should the camera be?
Just watch what happens as you start the bot, and if it is not clicking correctly, you'll need to use your mouse wheel to zoom in/out.

(EDIT... the following answer is based on you being able to launch 2 other missions successfully, but not launch Ezran)

You said "...skips right past it..." Does that mean that your cursor is very close to clicking on the actual mission? Like, a millimeter off?

If so, you'll need to try resizing your windows, etc.
(scroll up to the 4th post on this page, page 65, and follow those steps, line by line)

Sizing needs to be basically exact, and you need to watch the bot to ensure it does each of these correctly...
(A) Launches tradeskills (if applicable) --> sizing/movement
(B) Launches the space mission --> sizing/movement
(C) Restarts the space mission --> Standard/Alternattive Loop, etc.

If it is not a slight adjustment, then I have no idea for your actual question... "Does anyone know why Jabiim and Sarapin work fine for me but Ezran won't work?"

Ok guys, nothing is working for me and i got a different problem:

I'm 36 with all grade 3 upgrades from vendor, EMP and these things are not at the kiosk so i can't buy them.

I tried Pakuuni first, the bot hits the seat and the quest perfectly and when the mission starts, he's sometimes hitting the right spots but sometimes misses completly and seems to do nothing, neither dodging some attacks. Thats why he always failed Pakuuni.

So i tried Syvris, the escort q. It seems that he hits every single enemy perfectly, but after a few minutes the escorted ship dies so he must missed the important things.

I set everything to default, ingame solution is correctly. I got an widescreen monitor but when i change from 1920x1080 to anything else, the bot misses all clicks. I also tried to change to Aero, but when i start swtor, windows 7 automaticall changes to windows 7 basic desktop. "swtor must have windows 7 basic desktop to be started" it says.

What is it? Can somebody please help me?

It's the timing issue that everyone else is reporting. I'm just waiting for the dev to release an update.

Having one helluva time getting the timing right for Sullust. I have Autoit, and Scite installed and have spent the whole day toying with the tmes but just cannot get it right. I'm inept at this stuff. Is there any imps out there that can toy with Sullust times or have done it already and care to share what your using for timing post patch? Thanks

I am still having one issue with the crew skill part of the bot (I know the flying part of the bot is down atm, I'm not complaining about that). Before I say it, I want to point out that EVERYTHING works. every click is right dead center on where it's supposed to be, the accept, select mission, everything IT CLICKS ALL THE ICONS/BUTTONS CORRECTLY. EXCEPT, when I click say...max level lockboxes. it will do the highest rank, because it doesn't have to select it, then when it does have to select one it is one level off. instead of 5 it picks 4, instead of 4 it picks 3. I got the response previously "move your window up" which IF I did then the one crew skill would match up but nothing else would work. besides, I can't move the window up, its flush upper left corner. does the code need tweaking or is there a fix on my end to remedy the issue. I got the left bar off and right bar on and everything (not that the bars move the windows anymore) and have restarted swtor after resizeing.

I dont know how many people need to say this.

If you're not clicking the icons/buttons correctly **RELOAD SWTOR AFTER YOU HAVE RESIZED AND MOVED THE SCREEN TO THE TOP CORNER**.

If you're finding that the missions fail and youre not killing enough stuff you can either re-compile the bot using the numbers posted previous - this will only fix ONE mission (if you dont know how to then its probably not a good idea0 alternatively **LUCKY IS PROBABLY BUSY UPDATING THIS OR LIVING A REAL LIFE BE PATIENT**..

TL/DR - Reload SWTOR wait for lucky.

Dirty fix for Aetan mission + crewskills.
Download and instal AutoIt Downloads - AutoItScript
Delete EXE from Bot folder
replace Luckys_Spacebot_v4.2.au3 with FreakShare - Easy One-Click File Hosting
working nice and smooth ,bot now sometimes reset ui dont worry about it.

from sitting my character in the chair and positioning the camera at various distances behind me the mouse cursor just keeps pointing to part of my action bar to begin with. no matter how much i zoom in or out, it still trys to click my actionbar.

last thing i read, the bot does not work well with BHs something to do with the BH's ship engins are a different color so the bot trys to shoot itself down :P ...also the bot is somewhat broken atm because BW changed the load time of the space missions
