I don't seem to be able to get Rift to run with VMware for some reason. It worked the first time I ran it, but now it keeps saying insufficient graphics card, you're able to get to work in VMware fine right?

i've been able to run 5 simultanious rifts+ moefish on a single computer with a 580gtx. IDK graphics card you are using, but a quick search turn this up. VMware KB: vMotion succeeds, but reports the warning: Insufficient video RAM

make sure to use minimal settings on each VMware, lowest resolution/lowest graphics setting you can set rift to. then when the bot it setup, scale the VMware window down to the size of the moefish window, the bot doesnt actually need to physically see the bot to function so you could actually minimize the vmware window if you wanted.

Apparently it was an issue with permissions or something. Launching VMware as admin seems to fix the problem.

One quick question, did they just recently nerfed fishing ? I been getting "The fish got away" way too often, It used to work wonders, but now is just too much, please let me know if anyone else is having this issue or if I'm doing something wrong, thanks!

it shouldn't, how many fails we talking about? like 20%? nothing that i noticed, but it could be something is causing you to miss the fish. some people have been complaining that their fishing rod isnt functioning properly after extended periods of botting. while personally i haven't witnessed it, i'm interested in seeing if there is a local issue (ie something on your computer causing this vs something deliberate that trion is doing)

have you witnessed the fish getting away, is the mouse cursor properly changing as fish show up on the hook?

so i just decided to go back and redo moefish lite, and it appears that i've managed to lose the entire moefish-lite work folder, so i'm starting from scratch in C++ to attempt to do some updates. this may take some time, but hopefully a better MoeFish will be born from it .

I been sitting watching it, the cursor is properly changing, is just for a set amount of time, let's say 5 minutes it will miss all the fish, then it just starts fishing normally again, it keeps doing it about every 20-25 minutes or so... what is wierd is that about a week ago I didn't miss on single fish, thanks for the quick reply man, appreciate it!

interesting, if you dont mind me asking, whats your average latency to the server, general power of your computer (newer parts of say 5 year old parts). i'm not discounting that i might have to relook at the detection code as it appears something is not as it should be. will also be doing several test on my end to see if i can replicate the issue.

MF-Lite uses the old method of detection, while very good on a lot of systems, it was a more complicated/ less accurate method which also didn't work for an unknown reason in about 10% of uses.

Latency usually is around 80-100ms I keep the lag setting at 900 ("Don't know if I should move it") I have a store bought computer HPE-257c I think I got it about a year and half ago, I have a 10Mbps connection, if you would like any more info let me know, thanks for your time !

I have about a 95% catch rate with the current moefish lite. Ping is generally around 80-120 and i have a intel q9550 processor gtx 550 vid card 8 gig of ram. I have not adjusted the lag tolerance off of 900 on the program. Not sure why so many people having issues.
