V1.9 just went live!

changes:
-added Runic mastery option under lure options
-fixed loot checking method. some users were seeing issues
russian client was the only one I can't test, please tell me if it stops working!
-added framework for chinese client
just like to thank those that have supported me almost to 2.0!

Any plan on updating the Lite version at all? $5 isn't much for a fish bot, but I would like to at least test it out. The lite version is pretty terrible IMHO, it's slow, misses a lot of catches, and takes a long time between throws.

I can look at revisiting Lite, its been a long time since I updated anything with it, so its gotta have quite a few issues at this point.

do you mind copying your log from the bot so i can make sure its just not timing out on catch failures?

EDIT: Both Rift and MoeFish ran as Admin. Calibrated it correctly as well. Also replaced the catch.bmp file.

does the bot even attempt to reel in the fish or does it just sit there doing nothing once it has cast the line?

It just sits there doing nothing. After 25 seconds, it will re-cast.

this is caused by an issue detecting that something was caught. this is caused by some people having minor variations in how the mouse cursor looks (still havn't narrowed down why this happens). if you dont mind, i'll walk you through on email on how to adjust it for you.

-entirely rewrote the detection method:
users who were seeing issues with the old one should now see prefect results
-added "Move UI" button: this will allow you to move the main MFP window

it has been almost 2 weeks since the trions attempt to stop fishbotting. since then i have not gotten a single warning for fishing 24/7 and no one has reported any action to me, so its relatively safe to assume you are safe to continue to use the bot. happy fishing

trion tends to be rather strict with bot usage, especially memory reading/editing. my bot doesnt use any invasive methods, so its likely to fly under the radar. every now and then trion goes out with a vengeance against fish bots, but as long as you aren't posting 1000's of plat of fish on the AH or botting 19+ hours a day in a super public place, the chances of you being detected/caught are low. and even if caught they tend to take minimal action (plat taken away, 1 day suspension at most).

i botted 24/7 during the height of the witch hunt and never got caught, some people botted for a couple of hours and had plat taken from them, so its really hit or miss at how they are catching people.

I have the same problem as the previous two posters -- when using the Lite version, my character simply stands there after a loot error and has to wait 25 seconds to recast. Can you possibly share the technique you gave out via email regarding calibration?
