MoeFish BOT: advanced-simple fishing bot

they did do some, I know some non bots who did get affected, so again, it's likely by number of fish caught, or basically common sense should save you!

it looks like trion is finally using their anti-hack (which has full access to your process list) to track down people using autoit/autohotkey to flag accounts and started doing bans/loot repossessions when they can confirm your botting. I'm working on rewriting the entire bot in a different language where I can control every interaction, but this will take some time. in the meantime, keep your head down and it should be relatively "safe" soon, although I'm not comfortable really giving you a time frame as I havent followed trions banning practices for long.

still important to note that no one has yet reported any sort of backlash for using MoeFish

Hello, guys, i got some questions, maybe someone can help me with it.
First one, my bot did not:
Use lure. When i chose it, he just trying to use the lure but can't, for some reason, and do nothing. My mouse cursor just stuck and do not moves to the lure, and didnt start to cast. dont know why, maybe i'm doing something wrong?

hey findeh,

first thing is that it looks like your using an old client, run the MoeFish_launcher and get the latest one. after that, make sure that you are clicking "save/exit" after setting up your casting options, it looks like no casting option was saved and thus loaded.

as to the casting, does the russian keyboard us different keys for the actionbars? on a US keyboard its 1,2,3,4,5 for action bars 1-5, but i know the french keyboard is different and thus causes some issues (which have not been fixed). if the russian and US layout is the same for the actionbars then just downloading the new client should fix it for you (should say "MoeFish Bot Pro 1.620001 ALPHA activated" when you start it, its really 1.63)

it has been almost 2 weeks since the trions attempt to stop fishbotting. since then i have not gotten a single warning for fishing 24/7 and no one has reported any action to me, so its relatively safe to assume you are safe to continue to use the bot. happy fishing

V1.7 changes:Pro only
-added non combat log disabled.
users no longer need to manually turn off the non-combat log
-added option to specify location of Log.txt
in the options tab is now a button to set which log.txt to use, this is for users who had issues with log not being found
-fixed typos that caused certain saved options to not save properly
-fixed moefish now knows what version it is

Hi there.
I decided to give your script a try yesterday. I downloaded your lite version and followed the instructions and just wanted to make sure I had it working and understood. As far as I could tell it was working yesterday when I was testing it. But when I went to try it again this morning, it seems to be messing up. It casts just fine, it finds the fish and auto loots it but the bot says that it found no loot, hangs for a moment and then restarts but continues to repeat not finding loot, and pausing for failure.

Any ideas?

I tried the lite version, thinking of donating for the pro one.

Problem is it won't even cast the line. I click go, the cursor gets in position and then nothing. After 25s, nothing more.

If I cast the line manually, Moe works for this cast (it reels and loots), then it tries to recast but can't seem to find my fishing rod.
My fishing rod is in slot 1. I ran the script as Admin, my non-combat log is enabled. Fullscreen windowed english client. French keyboard though (tried azerty/qwerty, caps lock).

hey saleess,

first make sure that your fishing rod is in action bar slot 1. if its there, then mind telling me what keyboard layout you are using? lite only guarantees that a English keyboard will work, (noteably french/russian boards have issues as rift uses different buttons for action bars under those keyboards.)

That was it, thanks. My keyboard was set to French, using an English layout did the trick.

changes:
-added Runic mastery option under lure options
-fixed loot checking method. some users were seeing issues
russian client was the only one I can't test, please tell me if it stops working!
