We have a tripwire to kill off all instances when they do something that alarms us.

However, its a mistake to count on that. If you would be upset about losing an account, don't bot on it at all.

hehe I was careless and was reported for botting... got 24 hour suspension and bot kicked back to level 30... 13 levels damn you RIFT :P However I was a VERY obvious botter :P

They would rather keep you as a paying customer and not ban your account, instead they just bump you down to before you started to do whatever it is they are punishing you for, it's actually a very clever way to keep money moving in.

This bot works really well. Probably will sign up for a month since I still have a 2 months on Rift and I was like 60% sure of quitting. I'm on a low pop server so I just made a mesh on Crown Hill and just left it on overnight... No issues.

It's the best way to keep costumers in line and in game. Good job to them.

If your account gets flagged and they check the logs, for instance with fly hack/nocoll to solo a boss or with 2-3 people, they will roll back your character.. basically you loose any loot you got... its happened to a few of my users so now... but damn 13 lvls ...

Thats only for the first 2 offenses after that its perma ban
