Btw, i got the .data file , but i have a question :

for the translate , i need to switch each english plant to his french name or i can make the french list , ignoring the < item nuber > or i need a real name to name translation?

because herbs name for example , dont have entire names ( in english in your .data )




btw mines and wood are done , working on herbs now but need your advice

I frequently forget to type /log in game to start the logging so Rift Gatherer can actually get the data it needs >_<. If you are definitely doing that, make sure that in your config file, you have "Log.txt" in the path. And if it's still not recording nodes you find, let me know and I'll double check lol.

I'm also have trouble. I modified the config to US instead of EU and my rift path to I:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT Game\Log.txt. My character shows up on the map, but the nodes don't. I did /log too but still doesn't seem to work.

asaphelps once u hit \log in the game you have to go around and gather stuff then it should show up on the bot, now my question is after you have done this how do you actually start this bot i went around and gathered for an hour

im confused is this going to be able to harvest for you or is it just going to keep track of where the nodes are?

If you've played WoW, this program is very much like the Gatherer and Gather_Mate addons where it tracks what nodes you have found and such. Whether or not Wesk. intends for this to become a bot, I do not know.

I did a quick test with the public beta and it seemed to be gathering fine for me so I'm uploading just a RAR of the .30 public beta file with my Nodes.xml. All you have to do is edit the config and type /log in game. Then run out, gather a few nodes, and see if they show up on your map. (And delete the Log.txt from the rar file so you have a clean one with any errors you get personally)

The nodes I gathered to test were in Freemarch.

If the nodes you gather don't show up, copy and paste the contents of the Log.txt in the Gatherer to pastie.textmate.org and PM the link to that pastie to Wesk.

I finally got the it gather nodes but I have to switch back and forth between gather and rift a lot. Is there some way to make the gather smaller and always stay ontop even when playing rift? that way I can follow my node path to get stuff quicker?
