    What you are suggesting is a 100% valid approach (and I think that's how the ExileApi private Radar plugin works) but that's not the approach I took when developing the GameHelper Radar plugin. I wanted to augment the existing in-game large map rather than fully replacing it. The main reason I did it like that is because I wanted to use the in-game large map feature which tells us how much map is explored and how much isn't and also because I don't want to draw icons of stuff that the game is already drawing.

    So:

    1) there will always be some icons which GameHelper won't draw on the large map (i.e. icons that we think are already good enough in the game). That being said strong boxes, breach chests are already in my todo list and I will add player icon to that list too.

    2) There might be some icons that GameHelper is drawing but it shouldn't since in-game-icons are already good enough. Once anyone find those Icons let me know and I will remove them, these icons are considered as bugs since game is already drawing them.

    It seems like I can only send another pm in 10 days for whatever reason, so I post this here. I encountered the crash I described in my pm once more. Same error log but this time without Einhar. I killed a pack of devourers when it crashed, maybe mobs that "spawn" during combat trigger it?


    I also went through Act 1-3 and labeled important tiles. Just double check some and let me know if the way I labeled them works for you, I will then continue and do more.

    The Coast: Tidal Island / Mud Flats exit use same name
    Upper Prison: Some tiles share names 
    Ship Graveyard Cage: Exits dont allign with tiles (skipped the exits)

    Crossroads: Exit to Fellshrine Ruins shows up at wrong place even though the right tile is used
    Chamber of Sins Level 2: no "ascendency door" tile available, so I used "narrow_door" which should be unique to the trial

    A slight annoyance that I encountered while doing all that: whenever I resized or just moved my game window (I play in windowed mode to get the widescreen effect) it would reset the large map culling window. Is not making it always be fullscreen or cover the whole game window by design?

    yeah that's a good option, I can provide that. Basically, If user wants culling window to cover the whole screen, then GH should never ask user to set the culling window upon move/resize.

    they works for everyone. GH reads them and if they are incorrect, GH updates them automatically. So do share them and it's all good if they are incorrect (you can write x = -1000 and y = -1000 and it will still work).

    Scaling doesn't appear to do anything. My main monitor is at 125%. I tried different values, even the max 5, and then restarting Gamehelper but nothing changes. The value shows correctly in Core but there's no changes.

    Please provide some context. What are you trying to do? Why you are doing it? What are you expecting the result to be? Also, if u can provide screenshots, it will help understanding the problem.

    0.153 currently, but it does not overlap perfectly. I just haven't found a better value yet. GameHelper's overlay is awesome, so I usually disable the ingame one, then finding the perfect value is not important.

    I ask about text because at 1440p the Gamehelper text is hard to read. This seems to be common though with Exileapi having the same issue with broken text size sliders. Ex: The issue is that text size for larger resolutions is never taken into account.

    Edit: As far as Radar goes it's doesn't directly match up with the in-game map and no Large Map Fix value is making it match either. My monitor is set to 125% scaling but 1.0 in Gamehelper nearly matches Radar to the in-game map. When my character moves the map "vibrates." It would be nice to be able to use Radar without having to use the in-game map. Personally I find the in-game map lacking especially on bigger monitors where you can barely see borders.

    No. please read the text above that slider. No where in that text it says that it will increase the text size. All it says is to keep it in-sync with your monitor/window scale value.
    (long story short, for 125% please keep it 1.25, don't change it from that)

    Click "Show ImGui Editor" -> Select the font that works best for you. -> click "Show ImGui Editor" again to close it.

    Please share screenshot, this might be just an issue on your end.
    Also, (while taking the screenshot) make sure that

    1: your POE game is "Windowed-Full-Screen" with 1440p resolution.
    2: "Large Map Fix" slider value is set to 0.174.
    3: "Window Scaling" slider is set to 1.25
    4: Restart the GameHelper after doing setting-3.

    You're directly referencing the Windows Scaling value and even linking to the option in Display. Considering that the scale value's purpose is to adjust the size of text, icons, and navigation elements, from a user's perspective, it should be natural to assume that entering the scale value into an application would adjust said things. I'm not saying that's how it should be but rather the description you used for that option leads to that natural incorrect assumption.

    Fair Enough! Why don't you help me write some text that means keep window scale value in sync with this slider value as shown below & this will not scale up the window/text size.

    I would just say something like: This is used to align Radar with the ingame map and does not resize text or windows.

    I turned off custom scaling, turned off antivirus and anything else that might interfere, disabled GSYNC, unlocked FPS cap and the map still vibrates. The FPS stats of Gamehelper don't waver so I have no idea what's causing the map to vibrate.

    Thanks for the text, i will update GH and add it there.

    Nah, you don't need to change all of those settings, I have all of them enabled and GH is working fine. I did noticed that when I change Large Map Fix (image shown below) from 0.174 to 0.169 my map started vibrating so maybe update that value to whatever it is now to a bigger number. Do it at 0.001 intervals and see at what interval the large map stops vibrating. While you are doing this make sure everything else is constant.




    Also, 1 more question, are monsters icons also vibrating on the large map?
